No, you do not need to register your plan for it to be active. All you need is the receipt for your item.
When does my coverage start?
Protection plan coverage begins the day your product is purchased. Defect coverage for the product begins the day your manufacturer’s warranty expires.
Can I cancel my plan?
Yes. You can cancel your plan for a full refund in the first 30 days, prorated after that.
